First Let's talk about Han, the super famous han. No, not this Han, this is not Star Wars class. We are talking about the Han Dynasty (Below).

I wonder where the han dynasty map is?

Now, the Han Dynasty: Here we will explain the han dynasty, who they were and what they did, but first we need to answer this essential question: How did humans progress from bands of hunter-gatherers to the great civilizations of the ancient world?

-Well in china it was easy, with all the natural resources they got, they started growing domesticated plants and got the first crops in that region, then more people were living in a single area until a huge civilization was created

The Han dynasty come to power in 206 B.C.E. The first Han Emperor was Liu Bang who became Emperor after the Qin dynasty collapsed, he claimed his vacant at the throne and that's how it started. They divided into two regions the western and the eastern han dynasty. In the western the capital was Chang'an and in the eastern the capital was Luoyang. When Liu Bang died his empress Lü Zhi tried to confiscate the empire for her family, she killed liu bang's sons and replaced liu bang's family members in the army and government for her family members. That "dark age" lasted 15 years but then emperor Wen a surviving son of Liu Bang became emperor and killed every single family member of Lü Zhi he could find.

They conquered the Xiongnu people, they conquered or colonized the Korean peninsula, they conquered coastal lands well into Vietnam, and they conquered control of caravan routes that passed to the central Asia. They exported the mainly silk that get to Rome. The trades routes that passed across the asia was called the silk road, also they transport good into china like the buddhist. That's why one of the better achievements of the Han dynasty was the opening of the silk road.

Around 105 CE there was a man named Cai Lun, who discovered the recipe to make paper. But mostly it was for covering fish than for writing documents. Other invention in this era is the compass.

After emperor Wu died a man named Wang man proclaimed the throne and started a new dynasty called Xin or new. He took advantages of the problems and conflicts in the country. Wang Man tried to give land to peasants but after years of unsuccessful achievements a peasant rebellion started, peasant with red paint in their eyebrows called themselves "red eyebrows". They entered to Chang'an (where the emperor lived) and cut off Wang Man's head. Finally Liu Xiu a descendant of Liu Bang proclaimed the throne and re-establish the Han Dynasty. Finally the Han Dynasty ended at 220 CE when the last Han a child named Liu Xie abdicated to the throne and giving end to the dynasty.

The Han Dynasty have influenced a lot the east as rome to the west. The chinese calligraphy or mandarin became an art. Some inventions were the compass and the famous paper, the paper was an important object in history, because it gived historians real proofs of events that happened on that era. And finally confucianism, it has influenced the east so much, it was so popular as buddhism. They even made universities just for confucianism. The han dynasty is considered a golden age in china.
